Playboxes are beautifully designed, eco-friendly toys that spark creativity and imaginative play as little ones color, imagine and learn.

Today, our primary product is our coloring playhouses (think of it as a box fort meets life-sized coloring book). But, we made sure to think beyond the box and added an educational activity booklet and colorful stickers to make it extra special. If you need additional activity booklets, you can easily add extras within that product page.

Playboxes include the playhouse structure, accessories (such as castle turrets, birthday candles or rocket fins) and one activity book full of educational content, jokes, craft ideas, and more than 50 colorful stickers. If you need additional activity booklets, you can easily add extras within that product page.

Check out individual product pages for shipped and assembled dimensions for each playbox. Made primarily for indoor play (they are made of corrugate after all!), our playboxes are designed to be small enough to fit in a playroom and large enough for at least two little adventurers to play.

Playboxes are designed for kiddos age 3-8, but we have found that kids of all ages - and kids at heart - enjoy getting in on the fun.

How long your playbox will last will largely depend on how and where it is being used. Indoors, the playhouses can last several months. If your playbox is left outdoors or gets wet, it will deteriorate quickly.

Yes and that's part of the fun - especially for little ones!

We designed our playhouses to be assembled by a single adult. Since the structure is only two pieces, many people find putting it together intuitive. To help, we included instructions directly on the structure and provided detailed instructions in the activity booklet. You can also watch assembly videos here.

Currently, we are only available for delivery to the contiguous United States. We hope to offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada in the near future.

We do everything we can to get your playboxes to you as quickly as possible so you can get the fun started!

We process all orders within 1 business day and they typically arrive at their final destination within 3-4 business days. However, sometimes shipping can take up to 8 business days, especially depending on location. 

Need it faster? No problem! We have expedited shipping options available at checkout.

After you submit your order, you’ll receive an email with your order confirmation. Once your order ships, you’ll receive another email with tracking information.

We want to make sure you are delighted with your experience! If there are problems, please contact us and we will find a solution.

We will gladly accept your return or exchange of items that are unused, unopened and in the same condition as when received within 30 days of purchase.

Unfortunately, the initial shipping charge will not be refunded. Customers will be responsible for return shipping (and new item shipping for an exchange).

Contact orders@playboxes.com with your order number and let us know you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll go from there!

As long as the order has not shipped, you can change or cancel your order by emailing orders@playboxes.com. Please include your order number and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.

Playboxes are excellent gifts, so look at you, smarty pants! There are two ways to send:

1) Purchase specific items and ship them to the giftee. You can do this by indicating it’s a gift at checkout, and putting the recipient’s name in the shipping address section.

2) Purchase an electronic gift card. You can buy gift cards within our shop for any amount and send it to them directly. Just let us know their email address!
